Why Should You Get Cyber Essentials?

This option gives you protection against a wide variety of the most common cyber attacks. Cyber Essentials Plus
Cyber Essentials Plus still has the Cyber Essentials trademark simplicity of approach, and the protections you need to put in place are the same, but for Cyber Essentials Plus a hands-on technical verification is carried out. Alternatively you can familiarise yourself with cyber security terminology, gaining enough knowledge to begin securing your IT.

What is Cyber Essentials?

Cyber essentials is a certification scheme that was launched in 2014 by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). The scheme aims to provide a minimum level of protection against common cyber threats, such as phishing, malware, and hacking, by requiring organisations to implement five technical controls:

Cyber Essentials certification has been mandatory for suppliers to the central UK government who handle sensitive and personal information, as well as certain technical products and services. The scheme has also been widely adopted by other sectors, such as health, education, and finance, to demonstrate their commitment to cyber security and attract new customers.

Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus
